Privacy policy

Vizify respects the privacy of everyone whose personal data is processed by Vizify, including visitors to the website vizify.io. Vizify considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Vizify will process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Vizify processes personal data on the basis of the following four legal grounds:

1. To perform a contract between you and Vizify.

This ground applies when you have entered into an agreement with Vizify regarding the use of software to experience your products in 3D.

In the context of this legal basis for processing your personal data, Vizify processes your personal data only to the extent necessary for the performance of the agreement concluded with you. Agreements are concluded online by registering on a web space specially provided by Vizify for this purpose. The relevant personal data you provide during registration is shared with third parties, namely the web host who hosts the web space and stores your data on its servers, a payment provider for the processing of invoicing in the context of the agreement between you and Vizify, and a software company that sends you emails to implement updates regarding the use of the software provided to you by Vizify. These third parties process the personal data you provide only to the extent necessary for the performance of the agreement between you and Vizify.

2. A legitimate interest of Vizify.

This ground applies in the following cases:

  • Automatically providing your personal data to the hosting party engaged by Vizify, which enables the operation and functioning of the website vizify.io. This is necessary to store the personal data processed through the website and to ensure the proper functioning of Vizify's website and email services.
  • Using a customer management system to optimize customer management.
  • Using software for processing and storing Vizify's administration and accounting.
  • Using live chat software to enable the use of the chat function on the website vizify.io.
  • Using review software to publish any reviews you may provide via the website vizify.io.

The operators of the aforementioned software store relevant personal data to offer the functionalities of the software to Vizify.

In the context of 'legitimate interests,' Vizify processes your personal data only to the extent necessary to serve the relevant legitimate interests.

3. Your consent.

This ground applies in the following cases:

  • When you contact Vizify by phone, email, live chat function, or contact form on the website vizify.io, or in any other way, or when you write a review on the website vizify.io. Your consent is implicitly implied by the fact that you make contact or write a review.
  • When Vizify wants to use your personal data for other purposes or provide it to third parties. In this context, your consent always applies to a specific processing and a specific purpose. If Vizify has multiple purposes for processing personal data, Vizify will inform you about this and request consent for each purpose separately.

4. A legal obligation.

This ground applies when Vizify must comply with a legal obligation, such as retaining invoices for seven years as required by law.

Access to personal data

Only authorized employees of Vizify have access to your personal data, and only to the extent necessary to perform the tasks assigned to them. This also applies to third parties as mentioned above with whom Vizify shares personal data (automatically). Vizify will not sell your personal data under any circumstances. Individuals under the responsibility of Vizify, as well as third parties engaged by Vizify, are required to respect the confidentiality of your personal data. If Vizify outsources the processing of personal data to a third party, Vizify will take necessary steps to ensure that your personal data are adequately protected. Such steps include, if required by law, entering into a data processing agreement with such recipients to ensure that they implement the same or similar technical and organizational measures as Vizify to adequately protect your personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to request Vizify for access, deletion, and rectification of your personal data, as well as to restrict processing concerning you. You also have the right to object to processing and to data portability. This means that you can request Vizify to send your personal data processed by Vizify to you or to a specified organization in a computer file.

To ensure that the request is made by you, Vizify asks you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out the MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers on the document), document number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) to protect your privacy. Vizify will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

If the processing of your personal data is based on the consent you provided, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or, if you reside in a country other than the Netherlands, with the supervisory authority there.

Retention of personal data

Vizify only retains personal data for as long as necessary considering the purposes for which they were obtained. Vizify implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data against loss and any form of unlawful processing. These measures ensure, taking into account the state of the art and the costs of implementation, an appropriate level of security given the risks posed by the processing and the nature of the personal data to be protected. The measures are also aimed at preventing unnecessary processing of personal data.
